![]() Tony believes that genuine relationships are the key to life, and his favorite Scripture is Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go even when he is old, he will not depart from it.” He is looking forward to connecting with student-athletes and their families in his new role. Tony and his wife are members of Faith Assembly of God. When not found on a court or field fostering relationships with student athletes, Tony enjoys spending time with his wife and son fishing or at the beach, swimming pool, or church. He then relocated to Orlando and spent a year as a psychiatric assistant at La Amistad, a residential treatment facility for adults and children, before being hired by FCA. Tony holds a BS in Sports Administration from DeSales University in Lehigh, PA. In 2017, Tony turned over the basketball program to the assistant AD in order to spend more time with his son and help develop his son’s love for basketball and coach his AAU team. Tony was named three times FHSAA District Coach of the Year. Tony reached several coaching milestones at FCA as the varsity men’s basketball coach, including 200 wins in December 2014 and 300 wins in January 2017. Prior to coming to Geneva, Tony served as the athletic director at Faith Christian Academy for twenty years and the head varsity men’s basketball coach for seventeen years. Beginning June 2022, he took on the position of director of basketball in addition to his role as assistant facilities manager. Tony Medina joined The Geneva School in the fall of 2021 as the substitute-teacher coordinator and assistant facilities manager. Manny and his wife, Kathy, have three children: Yandel, Yaneli, and Yaneyla. He currently serves at Renaissance Charter School at Goldenrod as the school’s operations administrator. Coach Pedraza currently serves as the head coach for the CFE 2027 (Central Florida Elite) girls travel team and assistant coach for the CFE 2026 (Central Florida Elite) girls travel team. He also has fifteen years of experience coaching both AAU and travel teams. He is entering his seventeenth year as a basketball coach, coaching all levels from elementary to varsity, both boys and girls.
