![]() It was quite roomy for our family of five. The room with kitchenette and sofa bed was well kept and clean. Breakfast was sufficient, but at the time we were there, 9-930a, plates bowls and flatware were always missing and weren’t replenished for prolonged periods of time. We asked for towels and they were brought up promptly. In our room, there were no towels of any kind. It took close to 45 minutes to find a parking spot, in front of the McDonalds Hamburger University. Though parking is at a premium in Chicago, this is ratio of available parking spots is not reasonable. They have no arrangements for off site parking. Apparently the hotel has only 20 spots for more than 200 rooms. On arrival, the check in process was smooth and staff was friendly. The only reasons I have three stars include lack of parking, lack of towels in the room and lack of plates, bowls and flatware at breakfast. Although location is central, customer service is good & bed soft, the hotel is lacking in 4-star amenities, particularly for a Kimpton property. *Rates in October for this room seem to run $467.31 - $556.54/night on a Friday & Saturday.
